The journal Sociální studia / Social Studies is announcing a Call for two guest-edited thematic issues. The issues will be published in 2026-2027 and each issue will focus on a specific topic. The issues will be edited by a team of guest editors together with the editors of Sociální studia / Social Studies.

If you are interested in guest-editing a thematic issue, please send us the following:

-   a proposed thematic focus of the issue (including its relevance) (one page)

-   a preliminary list of contributors 

-   a tentative plan for recruitment of authors

-   a short CV of each editor, including previous experience with (co)editorship

Proposals should be sent to the journal’s email address socstud@fss.muni.cz. The deadline is 15 June 2025. More detailed information is available on request.
