Vol.5,No.9(2014)
The Czech Republic, following the trend in other modern countries, also wants to use information and communication technologies to achieve higher quality, efficiency and transparency of law-making at all stages of the legislative procedure, and higher availability, comprehensibility and clarity of applicable law. New projects eLegislation and eCollection aim to achieve this by introducing new systems for electronic legislative procedure and official electronic publication of applicable law. This paper aims to critically examine the main attributes of the proposed system and to evaluate its benefits and drawbacks.
