Study Consent to personal data processing in the Time of Internet analyses legal grounds of consent to personal data processing. The role of consent in the system of personal data protection is examined. The thesis draws attention to defections of current legal regulation as well as to problems of everyday situations, which are caused among other things by massive development of information and communication technologies. The study offers proposals of possible solutions for discussed problems. A specific chapter is dedicated for cookies and similar technologies. Their relationship with personal data protection is examined.
