Cybersecurity as a Recent Phenomenon in the Czech Law

Czech Republic was among first civilised countries that implemented complexnational legislation on cybersecurity. This relatively new legal regulatory phenomenon requires specific methodological approach that, quite unusually forcontinental Europe, acknowledges a number of extra-legal factors. The paper tackles the basic methodological issues and it also analyses particular institutes of cybersecurity law. In conclusions, it tries to discuss further development on the Czech legislation as well as of organisational and technical solutions for cybersecurity risks.
