Legislation providing by Open Data form and by electronic means access to information to public Czech and EU service

The article focuses on Open Data form and the electronic means providing access to the information of Czech and EU public institutions. Both legislations are derived from similar ideas of state of law and documents of Council of Europe. Even though we can see apparent differences either in legislation itself (mainlyin Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 May 2001 regarding public access to European Parliament, Coun-cil and Commission documents and Czech The Act No.106/1999 Coll. on FreeAccess to Information) either in application of these legislative acts. Comparison of the both legal acts and legal practise thus brings inspiration and useful hints de lege ferenda.

Centru výzkumu globální změny AV ČR, v. v. i.
Mgr. et Mgr. Jiří Kolman vystudoval PrF MU (2005) a mezinárodní vztahy a evropská studia na FSS MU (2005). Právní praxe absolvoval v Advokátní kanceláři JUDr. Sáša Navrátilová, Ústavním soudě ČR a Evropské komisi (Generální ředitelství pro regionální politiku). Dále působil jako asistent na Ústavu práva a humanitních věd PEF MENDELU. V letech 2007-2011 byl zástupcem Jihomoravského kraje při EU. Od roku 2012 pracuje jako vědecký tajemník v Centru výzkumu globální změny AV ČR, v. v. i. a od stejného roku je doktorandem na PrF MU.
