Changing of internal working models during psychotherapeutic processes with children
Vol.9,No.2(2015)
Attachment theory in psychotherapy (thematic issue)
The authors are discussing the clinical meaning of Bowlby’s attachment theory ant its use during psychotherapeutic work with children and adolescents. They are exploring the application of attachment research material by Stern, Schore, Fonagy (et al.) within a therapeutic relationship between a therapist and a child. The possibility of influencing and changing the internal working model is demonstrated on an example of a psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapy of an 8 year girl with a history of disorganised pattern of attachment.
