The aim of this paper is to present a demonstration of therapeutic work with a client in the model of Satir Transformational Systemic Therapy (STST) in the context of the 3month addiction treatment in a psychiatric hospital. The first part of this paper outlines philosophy of STST. The author also thinks about specifics of the therapy in the model of STST. The second part presents a selection of therapeutic work of 10 individual sessions. The work is described in detail and changes in client glacier. The work outlines family maps of primary and immediate family. There are mentioned other used methods and their effect and also homeworks. The paper is also enriched by client’s family maps.
