At the locality “Maria Trost“ near Heřmanovice in the northern part of the Vrbno Group, the fragments of iron ores of the Lahn-Dill type were found in the dump material. They comprise laminae of ankerite, magnetite, Fe-chlorite, muscovite, quartz, minor calci te, ilmenite and sulphides. Veinlets of calcite and stilpnomelane occur in the ore. Mentioned phyllosilicates, carbonates, ilmenite and monazite-(Ce) have been characterized by EPMA.
