VRCHNOBÁDENSKÉ SEDIMENTY OKOLIA BRATISLAVY (VIEDENSKÁ PANVA)

From surface samples (DB-1 až DB-3, obr. 1) and shallow boreholes (ZNV-1 Devínska Nová Ves a ZNV-3 Záhorská Bystrica) situated NNW from Bratislava (the Studienka Formation of the Vienna basin) we studied foraminiferal, ostracodal and bryozoans associations. All assemblages belong to Bulimina–Bolivina biozone (Upper Badenian). Studied associations indicate shallow water, normal marine environment in neritic conditions.
