Car and Film: Anthropological Entities of Modern and Postmodern Age

Abstract
The main objective of this study is to analyse the depiction of a car in a film art. Engaging particular films, the presented typology reflects a car as a socio-cultural phenomenon, which is ascribed various functions. Subsequently, this text aims to examine the mutual relationship man – car, and provides a general overview of its crucial manifestation in films.
