The issues of potentially dangerous therapy are discussed in this article. The attachment therapy, other harmful therapies (e.g. holding therapy, rebirthing etc.) and attachment disorder as well as reactive attachment disorder are described in the article. Harmful consequences, mainly for children, and insufficient proofs of the attachment therapy are pointed out as well as false connection with attachment theory.
