The article deals with the current development in the family therapy. It focuses particularly on a progression towards the integration „within“ the family therapy as well as on a convergence with other psychotherapy modalities. The attention is focused on the increasing demand for the research evidences that results from various socio-political and also scientific factors with subsequent a transformation of the family therapy.
