Utilizing satitherapy principles during alcohol addiction treatment (The Alcohol Daemon – utilizing mindfulness principles) The issue describes theoretic bases of satitherapy (mindfulness psychotherapy). The author presents a particular technique which is used with alcohol addicted clients in a therapeutic practice. The application of the technique is introduced to craving situations (or obsessive thoughts about alcohol). The inner psychic world of client is mapped using the concretization and the commenting of particular situations. The integration of introjects (inner representations, complexes) which were split off is gradually begun. Satitherapy integrates classical Euro-Americanand eastern (Buddhist) psychotherapy processes.
