Vol.5,No.3-4(2011)
The relationship between dreamy and real-life conflicts. The article is focused on psychoanalytic theories of dreaming and its functions. On the basis of her long-time experience in conducting small training groups of university students presents the author her observation that conflicting dream contents are often connected with real-life conflicts. In the paper, there are given a few typical examples. Repeating dreams can be understood as messages about persisting personal problems or as an attempt to resolve internal conflicts on conscious as well as on unconscious level. These conflicts can be probably projected into external reality or converted into symptoms.
