A psychoanalyst looks back on his path to psychoanalysis and subsequently in psychoanalysis. Subjective view and psychoanalytic education and the essence of the experience, which shaped his way of thinking about psychoanalysis and what he experienced in it. Visual images representing a summary of the experience are later described by memories of individual sections of the journey, where memories are mixed with dreams. The author touches on what is primary and secondary in psychoanalysis as well as the intersubjective view of mutuality is described in non-psychoanalytic language.
