In the affluence of the "Tříramenný potok" mountain stream near Loučná nad Desnou (in the Hrubý Jeseník Mts.) occur blocks of biotite gneiss with tourmaline. Research of this tourmaline by X - ray powder methods indicates predominance of dravite over other varieties of tourmalines. Dravite forms prismatic crystals in segregations of quartz together with feldspars, muscovite, garnet and apatite.
