MINERALOGIE PÁSKOVANÝCH MAGNETITOVÝCH RUD NA LOŽISKU „POD BŘIDLIČNOU“ U VERNÍŘOVIC, HRUBÝ JESENÍK

Vol.8,(2001)

Abstract
Banded magnetite ores at the locality “Pod Břidličnou“ near Vernířovice (in the Desná Crystalline Complex) consist mainly of quartz, magnetite, biotite (strong pleochroic, Y=Z=green brown), chlorite (chloritized biotite), feldspars (albite, oligoclase-andesine), and apatite. Calcite, epidote, allanite-(Ce), rutile, ilmenite (with 40 mol.% of pyrophanite), titanite are accessory minerals. Ben t biotite scaly flakes with different pleochroism (Y=Z=cinnamon) rarely occur in the studied ores. It is noteworthy that this biotite con tains 0,30-4,93 wt.% CuO, equivalent to 0,02-0,29 Cu pfu (based on 22 negative charges).
