OSTEOLOGICKÝ MATERIÁL Z JESKYNĚ PUKLINOVÉ

Vol.10,(2003)

Abstract
The Puklinová cave is located in the southern part of the Moravian Karst, near the Pekárna cave known as an important Magdalenian site. The cave forms the vertical narrow fissure filled with loess clay. Artefacts correspond probably to the Magdalenian culture. The osteological material comes predominantly from horses, reindeer is present only sporadically. The cave did not serve for the Magdalenian people as a long-lasting refuge, most probably only for transient visits. It is not possible to exclude that all finds occur are redeposited and that they come from the plateau above the cave.
