Geochemistry and petrography of amphibolites from the Tulešice quarry

Abstract
The amphibolites form a few larger bodies and smaller intercalations in granulites of the Gföhl Group on the southern border of the Náměšť nad Oslavou granulite body. According to their modal compositions, the plagioclase-amphibole and epidote-plagioclase amphibolite there occur. Amphibolites are a metamorphic equivalent of tholeiite basalts with significant signature of the middle ocean ridge basalts.
