GEOCHEMIE DNOVÝCH SEDIMENTŮ MRTVÉHO RAMENE ČERŤÁK: KONTAMINACE TĚŽKÝMI KOVY
Vol.17,No.1-2(2010)
The objective of this study was to evaluate geochemistry of bottom sediments in oxbow lake Čerťák and their potential to bind heavy metals. The bottom sediments show the ability to accumulate large amount of heavy metals from water. Based on the fact, they can be potential sources of pollution. Oxidation of these sediments could lead to a mobilization of the metals into aqueous environment.
