The occurence of the Netopýrky landfill in the NW periphery of the Brno city significantly affects surrounding environment. One of the most significant is the impact on the terrain morphology. Changes in ground surface level have induced the periodic presence of one or two ponds. The article deals with the origin of the ponds and their expected trend in future.
