FOSFÁTOVÁ ANALÝZA SEDIMENTU Z ARCHEOLOGICKÉ LOKALITY OLOMOUC-NEMILANY

Roč.19,č.1-2(2012)

Abstrakt

Phosphate analysis is a standard tool in examination of archaeological sites. The aim of this paper is to determine amount of total phosphorus in the samples collected in Olomouc-Nemilany, a polycultural archaeological site. The studied samples were taken from the bottom and profi le of an uncovered object. Method of total extraction using nitric acid was applied to determine total phosphorus. A graphical reconstruction was performed for visualization of signifi cant phosphorus accumulations in soil. Consequently, functional interpretation of the site was carried stemming from the gained data and the archaeological evidence.
