PETROFACIÁLNÍ ANALÝZA SEDIMENTŮ „HLINECKÉHO PALEOZOIKA“

Roč.11,(2004)

Abstrakt
The Hlinsko Paleozoic was subdivided in sixties of the last century by Vachtl (1962) into older Hlinsko-Rychmburk and younger Mrákotín units. The units differ both in lithology and in stage of metamorphosis. Flysh-like sediments of the first unit are composed commonly of the plagioclase greywackes and greywacke sandstones. Petrofacial analysis of sediments by method of Dickinson-Suczek proved feeding of the sedimentary basin from mixed and transitional continental sources. The Mrákotín unit is composed of chemically stable sediments with an admixture of organic matter (sandstones, claystones, silicites) deposited most probably in shallow, intracontinental basin, occasionally flooded by marine transgression.
