Výsledky datování hlubokých svahových deformací v oblasti Vsetínska a Frýdeckomístecka

Ivo Baroň

Abstrakt

The paper presents preliminary results of a research focused on radiocarbon dating of deep-seated landslides in the Moravian part of the Outer Western Carpathians. The oldest registered date was 9240±60 14C years BP (Boreal). The most distinct periods of landslide activity were observed in Boreal/Atlantic, Late Atlantic and Subatlantic. The obtained data well correlate with Late Glacial/Holocene periods of higher landslide activity and humidity in the Polish part of Carpathians.
