How to explain differences in bedding orientation in the area of Starý Jičín Hill (Outer Carpathian nappes, Silesian Unit): fold or fault?

The variable orientation of bedding was found at sites in the area of Starý Jičín Hill. This variability cannot be explained by simple fold structure with steep axial plane. The hypothesis of recumbent fold requires the opposite gradation in different fold limbs, while the gradation seems to be identical. This is why the most probable hypothesis explaining the observed situation is combination of fault and fold structures. The fault structure can be represented either by southward dipping thrust or by NW-SE trending strike-slip.
