FOSILNÍ SESUVY V NEOGENNÍCH MOŘSKÝCH JÍLECH NA SEVERU BRNĚNSKÉ AGLOMERACE – PODCENĚNÝ ASPEKT PRO ZALOŽENÍ OBYTNÝCH STAVEB

Roč.17,č.1-2(2010)

Abstrakt

This text is focused mainly on landslide-affected clays and clayey soils taken from the Brno-Medlánky territory. The clays based on mechanical properties are in fact the most complicated types of soils. They are 3D expandable, unstable in volume, mostly with low level of bearing capacity and susceptible for landsliding. The Brno Neogene type of clay is overconsolidated and significantly anisotropic.
Secondary anisotropy (tectonically and by landslides generated shear zones) reflects seriously the results of the mechanical tests. Geo-radar measurements and boreholes proved the landslide observations; the human-reactivated landslide in Medlánky was radiometrically dated to be older than 40 KY.
