Why Don’t Men Breastfeed?

Vol.4,No.1(2013)

Abstract
There have been many descriptions of breastfeeding men and males of many mammalian species have the potential to produce milk. However, there are the formidable barriers to the male lactation and this has never evolved in mammalian species. The only exceptions – two species of tropical fruit bat – remain dubious.
