The author describes the newest changes in the laws of Czech Republic prohibiting sexual harassment in labour relations, which take effect on January 1, 2001. The author explains the conseqences of harmonization with the directives of the EEG and interprets the text of the new Czech laws with attention to the intent of the legislature, the requirements of European directives, and the experiences of other foreign states. Althought it is still too early to predict how the newly passed laws will be interpreted and applied in practise, he predicts that the future will give jurther inspiration to perject these laws.
