Current problems regarding making audio recordings from public hearings on planning documentation

Vol.21,No.3(2013)

Abstract
The paper deals with some current problems regarding making audio recordings from public hearings on planning documentation or impact assessment and municipal or regional government sessions. The authors focus on the rights of individuals to make their own audio recordings as well as the duty of public authorities to provide individuals with previously made recordings. The paper reflects recent case law development and provides analysis of the Prague City Court judgment of August 2013. In this decision the court ruled that the South Moravia Regional Authority was obliged to provide the individual with audio recording from the public hearing on development principles based on her request.
