Abstract
This article deals with the problems of scientific examination of realized reform changes of public administration, which are resulting from practically oriented scientific approach of so called Teaching of administrative reforms in Austria and from purely teoretically oriented scientific approach of so called Theory of reforms in the Czech Republic.
The current situation is here represented especially by a wide comparative insight into problems of administrative science and related branches of science (e.g. administrative policy, teaching of administrative reforms) in Austria.
The situation in the Czech Republic is reduced on a brief description of such scientific concepts like reform of public administration, modernisation of public administration or transformation of public administration.
