Etnické strany, zájmové skupiny a etnické minority: Příspěvek k politologické reflexi problému reprezentace a prosazování zájmů etnických menšin v pluralitních demokraciích

Vol.4,No.4(2002)

Abstract
The paper comments on issues of conceptualization of ethnic parties and ethnic interest groups. The sources of legitimacy of ethnic parties as well as their sources of electoral mobilization are of a special kind. They are usually connected with and/or derived from the strategies of identitary mobilization. This fact conditions particular systemic properties of ethnic parties as non-state-wide actors and make them similar, at least in some respect, to ethnic interest and pressure groups.

Keywords:
ethnic parties; interest groups; identitary mobilization; representation; democracy
