Sartoriovský polarizovaný pluralismus a jeho explanační potenciál na případu Itálie v letech 1946 - 1979

Roč.6,č.1(2004)

Abstrakt
The purpose of this article is to examine, critically assess and apply the potential of Giovanni Sartori´s polarized pluralism to the Italian party system in the years 1946 - 1979. The first part deals with the theoretical background and premises of this concept. The article follows with the alternative explanation featuring multidimensional model. Finally, the supposed ties binding Sartori´s polarized pluralism and the Italian party system in the above years are challenged by R. Y. Hazan´s distinction between centre parties and middle parties.
