• The Journal of Jurisprudence and Legal Practice is a scientific juridical journal focused on publication of original scientific texts dealing with law and jurisprudence.
  • Journal publishes original scholarly papers on Czech and European law or general, methodological or legal-theoretical issues. We can publish articles on other national legal systems only if they are relevant for the Czech or European legal discourse or from the perspective of legal theory.
  • Each text must be submitted in Czech, Slovak or English.
  • Each text must contain name of the author, his/her affiliation (profession) and e-mail contact.
  • Texts sent to the reviewed section must always include abstract and keywords in English. In case that the manuscript is written in Czech or Slovak langiuage, it must also contain abstract and keywords in the language of the text.

Originality of the text
Any texts submitted to the Journal must be original works. Previous publication of draft of the manuscript in the Working papers edition at the Faculty of Law is acceptable.

Review Process
Journal of Jurisprudence and Legal Practice is a peer-reviewed scientific journal.
Submitted texts are reviewed anonymously by two independent reviewers (double-blind peer review). The final decision about the publication of all papers is in the competence of the Editorial Board. The identity of the author is not disclosed to the members of the Editorial Board before the final decision.
Estimated length of the review process is three months. Further information may be requested from the editors.

Publication fee
No fee is charged to authors, neither for peer review nor for publication of their manuscripts.
