Constitutional Status of Slovak President

Abstract
Tbe Slovak Constitution anchores the republic as a tradicional form of government as of the split of the Hungarian monarchy in 1918. In the Slovak Republic, there is established the usual form of government, that is to say the parlamentary democracy with the system of division of powers. The state powers are thus divided into the law-giving power, the executive power and the judicial power.
