The text is dedicated to some provisions of the Act No. 152/95 Coll. that changes several criminal law regulations including the Criminal Code. The author intented to draw attention to some changes of criminal law sanctions, comment on them, explain the purpose and substance. The text is divided into three parts. The first one deals with the issue of work for public welfare tbat is a new kind of punishent. The second one deals with changes of the type of sentence, w1th transfers of convicts during inprisonment. The third one deals with the fight against organised crime, punishment of offenders who commited criminal offence for the benefit of a criminal association.
