Abstract
The article mediates our experience concerning the pilot version of the "Integrated English Langu­age Course in Refugee Law" which was run in the winter term 1998/99 by the Department of Foreign Languages and the Department of Intemational and European Law under the auspices of Jan Hus Edu­cational Foundation. The main focus of the artic­le is placed on the preparatory language part of the course, particularly on the three main types of tasks covered. Some examples of the tasks in the textbook designed for the course are also provided.
