Intra-party democracy is not governed by the law of the Czech Republic. However, it is possible to study the electoral system as a factor influencing the selection of candidates. It is important how voters can influence, which candidates from the list of candidates for whom those voters vote, receive a mandate. From this perspective, it is positively evaluated preferential voting in elections to the Chamber of Deputies, while for other options, preferential voting is not optimally regulated.
Positive is also regulation of the constituencies in its present form, at least from the perspective, that there is an opportunity for the decentralization process within the party nomination. An important step towards decentralization was also a derogation of the second scrutiny.
