Vol.18,No.2(2010)

Abstract
The article deals with the topic of disciplinary measures against prisoners. The first part focuses on the historical development of such measures – from the middle ages to the 21st century and their place in the system of czech law. It is shown that this topic usually was neither a subject to the interest of the jurisprudence nor subject to the interest of the legislator. The second part of the article deals mostly with the issue of judicial review of disciplinary measures in the Czech republic.
