Foundation as a Subject of Protection of Public Interest in Environmental Law

Vol.23,No.4(2015)

Abstract
The paper deals with the question of possible involvement of foundations as subjects of protection of the public interest in the Czech environmental law. Foundations are regarded from a general point of view as the environmental organizations, as well as the possible subjects of procedural rights and (substantive) right to favorable environment. The paper especially argues that the environmental foundations could be viewed similarly to the environmental associations which are at present common in the Czech environmental law.
