Review makes readers acquainted with a book of Alžběta Nemeškalová Rosinová. The book deals with the question of judicial bias. A theoretical part of the book is focused on groundings of concepts of judicial impartiality and bias. An empirical part analysis rulings of the czech supreme courts concernig judicial recusal. Confrontation of results of the empirical research with the theoretical groundings and postulates is also presented in the book.
