Several Observations on the Investigation of Political Thinking

Thematically, the article is meant to be an introduction into the problem of the investigation of political thinking and its manifestations in the modern state and society. The several parts of the essay are dedicated to the following subjects: the relationship of political thinking and political philosophy; the agents influencing the shape, scope, traditional manifestations and influence of the differentiation of political thinking in the countries with typical political cultures; the relationship between the political thinking and ideologies and their influence on the everyday political life; the possible conceptual and factuai problems stemming from the historical modifications and interpretations of both the original and current forms of political thinking and ideologies; the circumstances of their branding as rightist, leftist or centrist manifestations; their characteristics according to the degree of their orthodoxity, social and mental sensitivity and the motivation role in relation with the existing social order.
