On the Conception of Administrative Law and the Administrative Science

Vol.1,No.2(1993)

Abstract
The need of scientific examination of the gradually realized change of public administration finally resulted in two relatively independent scientific approaches, namely the so called science of administrative law and the so called administrative science, the former studying the legal regulation of public administration as such, the latter the organization and activities of public administration in practice, taking into account the limits of the valid administrative law regulation.

Even though the mutual relationship of these scientific branches underwent certain development, it is still substantiated to keep such different approaches to the regulation of public administration. At the same time, the knowledge of both branches complement each other.
