The paper deals with the issue of justifiability of the claim for the mitigation of property wrongs in the case of property losses incurred by forest cooperatives composed solely of natural persons. The problem is solved by the Act No. 229/1991 Coll., On the Adjustment of Ownership Relations to Land and Other Agricultral Property as amended by later legislation (complete text Act No. 190/1993 Coll.). The author refers to the consequences of inconsistent legislative interference into the original wording of the law and in the conclusion tries to find a solution how to eliminate them.
