The paper is dealing with some basic problems connected wiih the application and the interpretation of CISG. The Czech Republic (from Czechoslovakia) is party of this one from 1. April 1991. However, only a few of businessmens and practising lawyers know this Convention and are able to take advantage of a widely drafted parties autonomy, which is a typical feuture of CISG.
