Tbe article deals with the 17-th amendment of the Labour Code included in the Act No. 77/1994. The author discusses individual parts of the amendment and points at difficulties that may arise due to application of the altered measures. The author consideres the basic problems to appeear in the form of change of the Labour code which is presented only in the amendment while recodification would be helpful indeed.
The article also deals with some changes connected with the unification of legal regulations of the employees relations concerning all types of employers (natural persons as well as juristic persons), some changes in a position of trade unions and especially the collective agreament, new regulation of fixed term contract of employment in case that an employer does not pay remunaration to an employee.
