In this contribution I would like to deal with the problem of vehicle thefts. Firstly I would like to give some dates concerning car thefts in the territory of the Czech Republic. Secondly I would li ke to deal with the three possibly cases.
Case A considers, the vehicle resulted from a criminal activity in the Czech Republic, the culprit who has committed a car theft is known and the question is what the procedure of the prosecuting body is going to take?
Case B is characterized by fact, that a third person different from the culprit interferes into relation between the owner of the vehicle and the culprit. ln the article is dedicated a few thoughts on astate of being a receiver.
In case C the vehicle is on the territory of the Czech Republic. And now question is what procedure a prosecuting body is going to take in order to ensure and hand over the vehicle to the foreign owner.
