Abstract

During the 2007/2008 academic year, the Department of Languages at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague obtained a license for the award of UNIcert III Certificate for students of the Faculty of Economics and Management. The preparation for the exam is conceived for two years and includes mainly work with specialized texts. The main focus is on the practice of writing a professional text and its presentation. Quantitative verbs and work with various types of graphical tools (the so-called “spracharme Textsorten”) play an important role in economic texts.
