About the Journal

Focus and Scope

CASALC Review is a professional peer-reviewed journal of the Czech and Slovak Association of Language Centres. Its mission is to contribute to raising the quality of language education provided by university language centres by creating a space for high-quality academic discussion, critical analysis, exchange of information, and the connection between research and language instruction in an interdisciplinary perspective.

Topics of interest range from major disciplines such as the didactics of foreign languages to related disciplines such as linguistics, psychology and cognitive science. The journal focuses primarily on publishing the results of specific forms of research typical for a university language centre environment, including action research, classroom/teacher research, and exploratory practice. The journal also accepts studies and texts concerning classic forms of basic and applied research.

CASALC Review (ISSN 1804-9435) is published by the Czech and Slovak Association of Language Centres (CASAJC).

Other contributions are evaluated by the editorial staff.
