Helena Worthington

Masaryk University

Helena Worthington is a lecturer at the Department of English Language and Literature, Faculty of Education, Masaryk University, Brno, and a PhD candidate in the field of English Linguistics, at the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University, Brno. Her current research falls within the framework of Critical Discourse Analysis with a focus on political discourse and discursive strategies. She is particularly interested in the interplay of language and social processes of identity construction, power, hegemony, and ideology.
