The study focuses on process of forming and deployment the legion Czechs and Slovaks in Poland 1939. This process was a kind of foreshadowing the further formation of organized foreign resistance and the struggle for the restoration of Czechoslovak statehood. Under pressure from the danger of German aggression, the Polish government finally agreed to build Czechoslovak troops in Poland. The important date is especially May 3, 1939, when members of the military group took an oath.
